CeramicSpeed hybrid spherical roller bearings
Product description
Spherical roller bearings are equipped with spherical-shaped rollers and are pivotal components in various mechanical applications, showcasing remarkable versatility in accommodating both radial and axial loads. The unique spherical design allows for misalignment compensation and accommodates shaft deflection, making these bearings particularly well-suited for applications where alignment issues may arise. This construction strengthens resistance to wear and corrosion, contributing to smoother rotation, reduced friction and enhanced resistance to extreme temperatures. As a result, spherical roller bearings are widely used in heavy, rotating structures such as drives, conveyor systems and industrial fans.
Variants, dimensions and materials
CeramicSpeed's spherical roller bearing range is supplied in the Xtreme variant: a robust, general-purpose solution that enables higher rotational speeds, reduced lubrication (up to and including dry running) and a longer service life under oscillating loads, in contaminated environments and at extreme temperatures. The inner ring diameter ranges from 25 to 400 mm, making this bearing type suitable for both medium-sized and very heavy-duty industrial applications. The rings are supplied as standard in chromium steel (SAE 52100), a proven choice for these heavily loaded applications.
