CeramicSpeed hybrid tapered roller bearings
Product description
Tapered roller bearings are fitted with conically shaped rollers that efficiently absorb both radial and axial loads in one direction. This robust construction ensures high performance in demanding applications, even under extreme conditions, high temperatures or aggressive environments. The use of ceramic rollers further reduces friction, resulting in smoother operation, a longer service life and lower maintenance requirements compared to conventional, fully steel alternatives. For applications with axial loads in both directions, these bearings are often mounted in pairs.
Variants, dimensions and materials
CeramicSpeed tapered roller bearings are supplied in the Xtreme variant, a robust, widely applicable solution suitable for applications with combined radial and axial loads, such as wheel hubs, gearboxes and heavy industrial transmissions. The inner ring diameter ranges from 10 to 100 mm, suitable for a wide variety of machine components. The rings are supplied as standard in chromium steel (SAE 52100), a proven material for these demanding applications. Thanks to the combination of precision engineering and ceramic rolling elements, these bearings offer a reliable, efficient solution for challenging operational environments.
